Strella Changelog – April 17, 2026
This week we shipped project-aware AI Chat suggestions, dashboard filters, participant custom identifiers for deduplication, and streamlined participant cards in the Analysis section.

AI Chat suggestions for your selected project
AI Chat now shows context-aware prompt suggestions when the chat is empty, tailored to whichever project you have selected. When no project is selected, default suggestion tiles appear so you still have a starting point.
Project filters on the dashboard
The projects dashboard now supports filtering by status, creation date range, and participant count. Filters persist across sessions, and sorting and pagination stay consistent with infinite scroll.
Participant custom identifiers for deduplication
You can now mark a custom column (employee ID, CUID, etc.) as the unique identifier for a project. Strella auto-matches incoming participants to the existing imported record instead of creating a duplicate Anonymous participant.
Streamlined participant cards in Analysis
Participant cards on the Objectives and Questions tabs no longer include inline transcripts and mini video players. Clicking anywhere on a card now opens the full session modal, cued to the exact timestamp for that question or objective, so you jump straight to the right moment.
Small fixes
- Copy quotes: expanded note cards now have a quick "Copy quote" button so you can pull a direct quote without opening the session
- Language search: language dropdowns across Strella now include a search box, so you can jump to the language you need instead of scrolling 40+ options
- Faster loading: billing transaction history and participant lists both load noticeably faster
- Report panel participants: file a panel dispute directly from the Results session modal, as long as you're within the 7-day dispute window
- Quote editor: short-quote drag handles can now cross each other, and dragging across utterances gives continuous feedback
- Task submission reliability: the "End task" button no longer sticks during back-to-back tasks, and the screen share overlay no longer hangs on the participant side
